    This is just so wrong and bad practice I had to share this here (apologies if you already knew about this):

    Not sure what the hotel owner/manager was thinking, but the way this played out is sure to:
    > Stongly increase his website traffic (if the website wasn’t down)
    > Strongly decrease his bookings

    The only people likely to book now will be or desperate for a room – when all of Blackpool is booked up – or not connected in any way.

    It is one thing to use the threat of a fine, but to actually enforce it was just plain stupid.
