We are now offering a local ‘assessment’ to clients where we go out and gather all of their citations, dupes, look at their site, etc.
The citation piece is taking me FOREVER. I know, I know, its a long process, but I am wondering if I am missing something. Right now I am running my clients information (old and new) through the Whitespark citation finder tool. I put those into a master sheet, where I make notes about what’s wrong, the links, etc. THEN, I go to the top 50 citation sites and search for their business (old and new) there manually. What I am finding is that listings are showing up on those sites that are not being found by Whitespark. So, I feel like I am doing twice the work right now.
Am I missing something? Do you have a better way of gathering all the citations — old and new — for clients, so I can then tell them what needs cleaning?
