Hello all, its been almost 6 weeks we have applied more than 4 times to create the account and have received nothing. Many calls to Google – nobody seems to know anything.
Any help, advice, tips or tricks!September 20, 2017 at 9:22 am #14935
Can you tell me what city and industry the business is in?September 20, 2017 at 10:05 am #14936
Plumber – Philadelphia and Electrician in Chandler, AZSeptember 20, 2017 at 12:09 pm #14940
Hm, strange. Do you mind posting the links to both listings and I can take a look and see if there is any reason why you wouldn’t be hearing a response?September 20, 2017 at 12:14 pm #14941September 20, 2017 at 12:18 pm #14942
A few more questions.
Who is applying – you (as the agency) or the client?
What type of email is the Google account that is the primary owner on the listing – is it a Gmail or an email that matches the company domain? Is this the email you put on the application form?
The address is hidden on the Philadelphia listing (i’m starting with that one). What is it – a home address? Can you list the address?September 20, 2017 at 12:27 pm #14946
We are applying through our Manager Adwords account, on behalf of the client.
Both GMB have the Primary Owner email that our AdWords account is attached to, which is firstname.lastname@example.org
The email we put on the application form is our email@example.com account attached to AdWords.
Neither of the clients in question have AdWords accounts set up (yet).
We were instructed by Google AdWords reps ‘not to do this’ until we heard back from firstname.lastname@example.org.
The address on the Philadelphia listing is: 12330 Medford Rd, Philadelphia PA 19154-1925September 20, 2017 at 12:35 pm #14948
Okay this is most likely the issue. From what I’ve heard, HSAs seem to have no desire to work with agencies, although Google has claimed otherwise.
Can you try re-applying AS the client?September 20, 2017 at 12:40 pm #14949
Will do right now and let you know. Do you think they will allow for agency accounts?September 20, 2017 at 12:42 pm #14950
I’m not holding my breath.September 20, 2017 at 12:59 pm #14952
Let me know if you hear back! I’ve also raised a request on your behalf with Google and will let you know when I hear back.September 20, 2017 at 1:41 pm #14955
Another Top Contributor that has dealt with HSA for clients also told me this:
There must be a unique Google account (of some email address) that will be used for HSA. Once HSA sets up the client they will attach it to that particular Google account. Once Google sets up the account, they can then link it to their MCC.
So I would definitely use the client’s email and create a Google account for it if one doesn’t exist already.October 16, 2017 at 12:33 pm #15147
Just a little update, we applied through our clients accounts, had a full AdWords campaign running and nothing. Still no word from the HSA team. HELP 🙁October 16, 2017 at 12:49 pm #15148
I’m talking with Google about this and will let you know. Their communication for HSA is honestly the worst I have seen in quite a while. I’m complaining a ton about it and will let you know.
Did you hear back on the plumber in Philadelphia or radio silence on both?October 16, 2017 at 1:23 pm #15149
Complete radio silence! 🙁
