I wanted to get an opinion on a best practice on linking out to citation sites where visitors can read reviews left by other clients/customers. Looking at lots of websites I typically see the following things most common:

    1. Links/icons are going out to Google+ and Facebook on most websites
    2. Some sites may or may not have a page where reviews are displayed for people to read
    3. Some sites may have an inner page that links out to other places such as Yelp, Citysearch, LinkedIn, or other relevant citation sites

I am considering the third option for one of my clients now. I would welcome any opinion or suggestion here. Is there an Local benefit? Is it a good experience for the website visitor? Give me your thoughts.
