Ben Fisher of Steady Demand received a notice that one of his client’s reviews was flagged and removed for a violation. While this is great news, it’s not indicative of an increase in policing over reviews, so you cannot draw the conclusion that Google has changed its policy – only that they’re sending out notifications that reviews have been removed.
GMB News: Looks like Google My Business is notifying a listing manager when a review has been removed from a profile. This is a welcome treat! @rustybrick @mblumenthal #localseo pic.twitter.com/QhaYpk0ijb
