Google My Business Adds Labels for New Listings
Joy Hawkins

My colleague Dave DiGregorio noticed this morning that Google has a “New on Google” label that is showing beside listings in both the local pack results and the local finder.

This feature can be really useful for keeping an eye on your competition and also identifying listings for your own brand that recently got created from 3rd party sources.  It’s also a great way to identify fake listings for those industries that have a lot of lead gen listings that should be reported.  So far, I’m seeing it on listings that appear to have been created in the last 60 days.
