I just noticed today that the events section on Google Maps business listings appears to have been removed. Events still show up in the search results on the Knowledge Panel:
However, when you click to go to Google Maps, the events no longer display there. For reference, this is what they used to look like:

I still see it, just not as frequently in the knowledge panel as I used to.

Could be a rollout delay or some other tweaking of a way they handle events?

Are you able to email me some screenshots? I don’t see events on Google Maps (on Desktop) for any of those. They do show up on search.
Yes, It’s not showing for my business as well. Google is also asking to update the opening and closing time. What impact this would have on the local search results?
The only impact it should have is that the events simply don’t show up on Maps anymore.
They show up on Mobile
Do you happen to have a screenshot? I can’t trigger any on the Google Maps app. They do still show in search.
