Did you know you can post videos in Google reviews?

Recently in our Facebook group (Local Search Insiders), David Hills pointed out that you can add videos to your reviews on Google. Apparently, this feature has existed for a while but it’s really easy to miss because it is not an option on a desktop.

When you go to leave a review on your computer, you only get the option to leave a photo with your review (see the image below).

When you go to a browser on your phone and go to leave a review, you get a slightly different screen (see image below) but it still only allows you to upload a photo.

How to leave a video with your review

If you go to the Google Maps app and go to leave a review, you now see the option to add a video with your review (see the image below).

Once you do this, the video will show up with your review and will have a play button on it like in this example.
