We’re just one week away from Local U Advanced at SMX Advanced in Seattle and we’re all getting pretty excited about it! Of course we love getting all the Local U partners together in one place. It’s great to be part of an outfit where everyone likes and respects each other and we hope that shows through in our events. But it’s also a honor to get to spend the entire day (and happy hour) interacting with so many brilliant local search marketers.
We’re especially excited that Moz visionary Rand Fishkin will be joining us for our morning keynote. In a wide-ranging presentation, Rand will provide a broad context for Google’s inflection towards brands and how local businesses can use content and customer experience to amplify that brand online.
Local U Advanced events are purposely kept intimate so that we can all get to know each other and learn from each other. In addition to the formal presentations, part of the day is spent in small group labs and in discussions with like-minded marketers sharing information and helping each other with solutions to common and individual problems. Google Community Manager Jade Wang, is also available to answer questions and can often help attendees resolve issues immediately.
