3 Tips for the New Google Business Profile Manager Dashboard (Now Called New Merchant Experience)
Joy Hawkins

Google recently launched a new dashboard on the Google Business Profile Manager (formerly Google My Business). It is called the New Merchant Experience (NMX). Here are a few tips to help with this new dashboard.

1.  See Performance Improvement Year Over Year

When you initially go into the performance metrics, it only shows data for the last six months.  However, if you highlight a single month, you can actually compare your data to that month of the year before. Doing this will allow you to see if your calls or driving directions have gone up compared to a year ago. Information on how to export Google Business Profile data is available as well!

2. Monitor Q&A on Your Listing

This is a brand-new feature – it never existed in the dashboard before.  It is also really important to keep an eye on this feature.  If you are not paying attention, you could end up with bad information on your profile that you have not responded to (see the image below).

3. See What Days and Times You’re Missing the Most Calls

Finally, you want to make sure you do enable call history.  Call history will allow Google to track your phone calls and will tell you what times of day and days of the week you are missing the most calls.  This is really valuable information that will allow you to change some of your business practices to avoid those missed calls!
