"?️ Google's Assistant automated restaurant reservation service tested in the wild! Filmed is the booking process, followed by the call received in the restaurant. https://t.co/8XphNXPllb"
Mike: Andy Simpson created a video/recording of the new Duplex restaurant reservation feature of the Google assistant showing how the booking attendant works for both the caller AND the restaurant.
Mike: This is a feature that works really well for businesses that can’t easily capture their customer’s email or sms number during the transaction. Think a restaurant that puts the call to action on the table top or even a home service provider that leaves a card instructing the end user to text the number to start.
