General Motors unveiled a new service today called Marketplace in which owners can pre-purchase coffee and gas, or make restaurant reservations, all from the drivers seat. GM calls it “the automotive industry’s first commerce platform for on-demand reservations and purchases of goods and services

Google Websites have zoomed past 1 million created and they have been being created at a rate of 7300 per day for the past quarter.
The trajectory of Websites raises several questions for me. The first of which is the acceleration of uptake: What is causing that? Is Google promoting the heck out of it in the developing world (we are not seeing that in the US) or has the product reached lift off and it is going up the S curve on its own via word of mouth? More than 90% of search snippets were 165 characters or less prior to the middle of November but now, on mobile and desktop, instead of an average of two or three lines, we’re talking three, four, five, sometimes even six lines of text with lengths of between 260 and 300 characters. .
