Poll: How Would You Rate Google My Business Support Today

Recently, Google My Business moved some of its phone and chat support for US businesses to India. If you have had a recent experience with support, either phone or chat, how would you rate that support overall?

    It really is good. Some time it takes longer than i’d like to resolve issues, but unlike 2010 it is possible to resolve complex issues.

    I work for an SEO company that deals with A LOT of customers and I make calls to Google Support daily. Normally around 3-4 times a day. Mostly to gain access for listings that the customer does not have logins for. I also make calls to merge listings or sometimes just call to see what options I may have for particularly sticky situations.

    Not ALL calls go to India. I don’t know how they figure out where and when you get the US Call center because it seems to be arbitrary. Either way, I dread when I get the US team.

    My reasons are simple, I’m open handed about working for an SEO company and when you get the US team I’ve found that they’re very resistant to help. Normally, I have to fight with them a bit to get what I need completed.

    India’s team tends to be a little more relaxed. Sure, I may have to spell out a word or two. But, my call times with them are normally shorter because they’re more willing to help and make concessions and I can do the work I need to do.
