Our first Local U workshop of the year is in the books, and we all feel like Austin was a great success. We had more than 100 people in each of our two sessions, lots of helpful site clinics, great networking and so much more.

Some of our team snapped a few photos during the day, and here are a few of our favorites!

With our morning workshop often starting at 8:00 am local time, the Local U faculty usually arrives at the venue to start setting up at about 7:00 or maybe 7:15 at the latest. Above, the gang is getting the registration area set up and Mike Blumenthal is working on preparing the laptop and presentations in the auditorium.

One of the best things about the workshops is the chance for one-on-one time with the faculty. In the top photo above, Mike Ramsey and Ed Reese help Katie Visco during a site clinic that we wrote about already on our blog. In the middle photo, Will Scott helps attendees in another site clinic. And in the bottom photo above, Aaron Weiche (right) speaks with Paul S., one of our Austin attendees, in between sessions.

Several local groups and organizations helped make Local U Austin happen, and they were able to setup vendor tables outside the auditorium to introduce themselves to our attendees. The bottom photo shows the view from the top of the auditorium at the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas.

We hope that gives you an idea of what one of our workshops looks like! Thanks again to all who attended, and to our sponsors for helping to make the event happen.
